- Incorporation of outpatient Hematology with 1:1 faculty mentoring PLUS inpatient consults
- Redesigned Medical Consultation Rotation
- One resident focuses solely on medical consultation to other services during daytime hours
- Updated Medical consultation Manual
- Daily teaching rounds
Balance of Work Load:
- Night Float: Admission cap decreased from 5 to 4 admissions per intern
- Team Census: Decreased from 24 to 20 (10 per intern)
- To allow more time to learn from each patient
- To allow residents to perform daily work round
